Before you decide
- Pass prices are the official ordinary-car adult prices for purchases from October 1, 2026: ¥53,000 (7 days), ¥84,000 (14 days) and ¥105,000 (21 days). Children pay half.
- Fares are typical reserved-seat fares and change by season by a few hundred yen. They are a guide, not a quote.
- The standard pass does not cover the Nozomi and Mizuho trains without an extra ticket. It does cover the Hikari and Kodama.
- City subways, private railways and most buses are not covered, so budget for them separately.
